2025 CTEC CPE 20 Hour - Business Entities including Partnerships & Corporations
Our IRS and CTEC approved 20 hour tax course contains 2 hours of ethics, 3 hours of updates, 5 hours of California state tax law, and 10 hours of federal tax law. Our 10-Hour federal tax law class covers business entities and depreciation. Tax topics include proper completion of Partnerships, C and S Corporations related tax schedules and forms including Form 1065, 1120, and 1120s and small business Schedule C and provides ten hours of CE credit.Platinum's 3-Hour federal tax updates class covers personal tax updates. Topics include fundamental inflationary changes that will be used to prepare tax returns and provides three hours of CE credit. Platinum's 2-Hour ethics tax class covers ethical issues including practices and procedures involving the possession of tax records, understanding how to properly disclose fees charged for the preparation of taxes and understanding the definitions of when a tax practitioner is acting in a disreputable or incompetent manner and provides two hours of CE credit. The three combined classes will meet the 15-Hour IRS requirement in order to participate in the Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP). Platinum's 5-Hour California tax class covers the proper completion of the California Franchise Tax Board Form 540, providing an additional five hours of CTEC CE credit completing the 20 hour CTEC Continuing Education (CE) requirement.
