2026 Oregon CE 30 Hour - Business Entities & Advanced Tax Topics
Our Oregon CE 30 hour tax course contains 2 hours of ethics, 3 hours of updates, 5 hours of Oregon state tax law, and 20 hours of federal tax law. Our 10-Hour federal tax law tax course covers business entities including proper completion of Sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, C and S Corporations related forms and tax schedules and provides ten hours of CE credit. Our 10-Hour federal tax law class covers advanced tax topics including retirement, rental real estate, gift taxes, estates and trusts. Topics include estate and gift tax returns, a summary of the most common trusts, the IRS appeals process, IRA and other pensions, rental income and expenses, royalties, abusive and frivolous tax schemes, and military and international taxpayer topics and provides ten hours of CE credit. Platinum's 3-Hour federal tax updates class covers personal tax updates. Topics include fundamental inflationary changes that will be used to prepare tax returns and provides three hours of CE credit. Platinum's 2-Hour ethics tax class covers ethical issues including practices and procedures involving the possession of tax records, understanding how to properly disclose fees charged for the preparation of taxes and understanding the definitions of when a tax practitioner is acting in a disreputable or incompetent manner and provides two hours of CE credit. The three combined classes will meet the 15-Hour IRS requirement for the minimum number of CE credit hours including the tax updates and ethics requirements. Platinum's Oregon State Tax course offers 5 hours of continuing education credits completing the 30 hour Continuing Education (CE) requirement.
